After I upgraded to Windows 10, I had problems with three different USB linked devices that had worked fine in Windows 7 Pro 64, but had some type of problem in Windows 10 Pro 64.
With regard to the Sharp EC-WS115 Weather Station, it started popping up a error message about the USB being disconnected.
I've tried a number of things to fix it, and all I've been able to come up with is this work-around. If you get the message, unplug the USB connector for the Sharp transmitting antenna from the computer, then and plug it back in. You will probably get one or two error message(s) again. Click the 'Retry' button, and if it goes away, it will work normally. The error message might pop up again pretty quick, but hit Retry again. At most I've had o click it three times, but usually only once.
After that it will run fine until you reboot the computer or turn it off. Then you will have to do it again. So it might be convenient to place your USB connector for the antenna in a handy location.
If anyone comes up with a better solution, please post it here.
